MONEI was founded in 2015 by Alexandre Saiz Verdaguer, as a fintech company based in Malaga, Spain, that focuses on providing a comprehensive digital payment platform.
The company's mission is to simplify electronic payments for businesses by offering an integrated system that supports a wide range of payment methods, including local and alternative options like Bizum, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and more.
In 2021, MONEI obtained its Payment Institution License from Banco de España. By focusing on flexibility, security, and efficiency, MONEI aims to support business growth and streamline the payment process for merchants across Southern Europe and beyond.
