What’s new at MONEI: February 2025

Welcome to this months edition of our What’s new at MONEI blog series. Each month, we share exciting product updates, company news, and more to give you a peek into how things are going as we continue helping more business owners like you accept the widest range of payment methods from a single platform.

🏗️ Product/features/engineering

• We released MONEI Odoo connector. Odoo is an open source business app platform. Now MONEI users can view their payment data along with all their other business data in one place, making accounting easier. Example: If you have an e-commerce connector that helps you track stock and orders via Odoo, you can now also see payments in the same environment as the orders are correlated with your MONEI payments. • We have processed the first MONEI Pay NFC transaction. The MONEI Pay app now supports NFC transactions using the NFC antenna which is available on all Android devices (Android only, for now).
• We released the WooCommerce MONEI module, allowing us to help more merchants and diversify our e-commerce integrations.

🤝 Business development

• We attended Fitur, where we personally met nearly 40 businesses seeking out better payment solutions, like MONEI. We’re excited about a few partnerships that are in the works!

• Alex, our CEO, participated in a Q&A about new trends for payments and SaaS solutions at Barcelona Finance Hub (BFH). Check out the LinkedIn post.

• Our Barcelona office is getting busier! Sales and engineering teams are meeting at the BCN office more often, creating more structure and organization. Go team!

📣 Press

• In January, we received over 30 press impacts about MONEI’s collaboration with the European Central Bank (ECB) for the development of the digital euro. Congrats to the team! 🥂 View a few of the press mentions via our press page here.
