MONEI and La Casa de las Carcasas join forces to enable Bizum, MB Way and Multibanco in their new e-commerce

- The launch of the new e-commerce on Shopify is already under way, with Bizum, MB Way and Multibanco available from day one

MONEI, the fintech that drives business growth with innovative payment solutions, and La Casa de las Carcasas, a leading mobile accessories retailer, have reached an agreement to optimise payment acceptance in their online channel and prepare for expansion into the retail environment in their stores in Portugal.
The collaboration between the two companies begins with the integration of the brand’s e-commerce into Shopify, which is already up and running. From day one, customers will be able to pay with Bizum, MB Way and Multibanco, providing a smooth experience tailored to the payment habits of their regular customers.
In a second phase, MONEI and La Casa de las Carcasas will work on rolling out in-store payments with MB Way and Multibanco in Portugal, with the intention of further expanding the collaboration between the two companies in the future.
For his part, Alex Saiz, founder and CEO of MONEI, stated that, “this agreement enables us to support a leading brand with agile orchestration, local methods, and native Shopify integration, which is also ready to scale up to retail.”
Similarly, Fares Kameli, CIO of La Casa de las Carcasas, assures that the goal of this alliance is for “paying to be just as easy online as it is in-store, because with MONEI we are including local methods and simplifying payment with Bizum, improving our customers’ experience and conversion.”
