Telefónica Trusts MONEI for the Online Payments of its New Circular Economy Project
- Telefónica adopts the MONEI payment gateway for Ovio market, its new e-commerce project to sell refurbished technology.
- This agreement promotes the circular economy and reduces the environmental impact.
- Online payments contribute to this trend by saving raw materials and reducing the social footprint of business activity.
MONEI, the fintech that simplifies and speeds up digital payments, has been chosen by Telefónica to provide its payment gateway services to its new Ovio market e-commerce project.
Ovio market will offer refurbished technology and give the equipment a second life, thus encouraging the circular economy. Telefónica has decided to place its trust in MONEI, standing out for being an entity regulated by the Bank of Spain and being the only payment gateway that integrates Bizum as a payment method available through Shopify. Thus, the client will have all the main and alternative payment methods at their disposal.
Working together towards responsible business activity
MONEI and Telefónica, through initiatives such as Ovio market, are increasingly committed to sustainable business models, promoting responsible consumption practices, lengthening the life cycle of technology, and thus generating added value. Online payments also contribute to this trend by saving raw materials such as paper and reducing the social footprint of business activity.
